Fixed Wing Aircraft

Toad Aeronautics has made attempts at fixed-wing aircraft. There are two attempts. The former attempt failed, due to an accident during construction. The aircraft was made using proprietary lightweight materials, and the lifting surfaces were to have carbon-fiber reinforced polyethylene terephthalate glycol spars for reinforcement. Unfortunately, the accident broke the wing spars beyond repair, and removing them would damage the airframe. The latter attempt utilizes preexisting wings from another aircraft, however the horizontal as well as vertical stabilizers are to utilize additive manufacturing. The material as of now is undecided. After the airframe has been proven worthy, it will likely be modified to utilize original wings constructed utilizing additive manufacturing. The Zenith series is a fully 3d-printed aircraft. Versions 1 and 2 are available for download, though it is not guaranteed that the system will function as intended. Download at your own risk.
